Some options for distributors Philophobia is the fear of falling in love and i thought this would be a good name as the distributors main film genre would be Romance.

I have chosen to do the third one as I believe the first one was too complicated and the second was not very interesting, whereas the third was simple yet effective.

Outline of Opening Sequence

In the opening sequence we see the character Ruby going to the hospital to see her Grandma. We see her journey there;

                 Her walking there

                 Then her looking for a newspaper/magazine

     Then we see her bump into the main male role in the film Jack for the first time. Throughout it I’m going to have a diagetic sound of Olly Murs “Change is gonna come” as it’s going to be playing through her I-pod then when she bumps into jack the music will stop. 

Synopsis of Chosen Idea

Girls grandma has been in hospital for some time, and the Girl (Ruby) goes and sees her at the hospital all the time. When she’s there she bumps into a man she likes, who says he works there (he’s actually a patient) She sees him a couple more times. Finally her Grandma convinces her to “go for it” so they talk and go on a date. Things become serious so Ruby doesn’t see her Gran as much. Her Gran then passes away and Ruby ends up blaming the man (Jack) so they break up.
She then finds out she’s pregnant. She tries to fins him she goes to the hospital to ask where he is and they say he’s been transferred.
She goes to the other hospital and finds him she then finds out that he’s really ill and is dyeing and while he’s dyeing she goes into labour. She gives birth and he holds his baby girl once and then he passes away leaving her everything he ever had and a video explaining how much he loves her.

Idea 1

There’s a boy and a girl who are together but there’s another girl who starts to become obsessed with the boy. The story line gets more and more intense as the girlfriend soon becomes the fiancé and becomes more aware of the other girl who has only become even more obsessed with the boy, who has tried to steer clear of her. It’s about the struggle between the stalker and fiancé and how the man handles it.

Idea 2

Idea 3

Normal guy who works in an office when suddenly people around him start dyeing and going missing. The main characters are Liam and William, as the story develops we find the connection between the two. William had this thing with vengeance and if you cross him you will gets what’s coming to you, someone makes fun of him so he goes and kills them, someone pushes in front of him in a queue he kills them, the killing keep increasing until the police are involved trying to find the link but no one seems to know who William is apart form Liam, who ends up helping the police try and find him and put a stop to the deaths.
Liam who keeps losing days of his life and being told that he was at the scene of most of the crimes is getting more and more confused until the point where he realises its him doing the killings.

Idea 4

A girl starts a new school and starts to like this boy who is very popular and way out of her league. He’s not interested in her at the start and already has a girlfriend. She likes him but is too much of a geek to get with him and is afraid people will laugh. When she finds out they have to work together on a project she thinks it’s the perfect opportunity to start talking to him, which makes his girlfriend very mad, he brakes up with his girlfriend and gets with the new girl but that leads to his ex going crazy and they have to overcome her craziness to be together.

Characterisation – Bullet Tooth Tony

In the clip we learn about the character Bullet Tooth Tony, the people are talking about him and if he could help their situation, we know that because the clip is from the middle of the film that Tony was a last resort.
The first time we see Tony it is an insert as the girls talk about how good he is at his job “He’d find Moses in a burning bush if you paid him to” We can see by the mise-en0scene that it is set in the past, his dodgy hair cut and the music playing let us know that it was probably set in the 80’s.
They then go on to say how he was “shot 6 times and had the bullets moulded into gold” this shows us that he is very tough and that he is proud of it. The fact the man in the insert keeps saying “why you not die?” shows us that he is scared of him and knows that if he doesn’t kill him then Tony will kill him. From this we also know that he has upset a lot of people and made a few enemies.
The men then go on to marvel at how tough he is “6 bullets” “In one sitting” letting us know that even they are impressed and they are supposed to be scary and in charge.
We then cut to Tony again but this time we know it is set in the present as we can tell by his clothes and his hair as well as the music being much more ‘up to date’, we also see him beating some man up by trapping his head in between the car door, this is very violent and allows us to know Tony is not bothered by death or blood. The clothes and car also allow us to know that he has become very successful with what he does. We then see him answer the phone and he answers very casually as if he hadn’t just been beating a guy up, showing us again that he’s very casual about it all.
Also the way he answers the phone by saying “bonjour” shows us he has a sense of humour.
The insert allows us to see Tony very focused and on a mission, we also hear him swear which again shows us that he is a very violent man. The clip with blood going down his mouth also shows us that he’s an animal and dangerous.
The insert allows us to know why he’s called Bullet Tooth Tony, and so that we can see that he has become very successful since then. It also allows us to know that his occupation is a contract killer.
His speech is very threatening and aggressive, towards the man and we can tell that he’s a very impatient short fused man form this.

The camera at the end of the insert shows us that Tony is at a higher position of power than the man he’d just killed although he other man thought that he was in control.
At the end the music is very upbeat showing us that Tony enjoys his work and makes it look like its good fun to go beat up a man. The music then stops when he answers the phone and he becomes very business like.
